All good things do eventually end, and so ends the summer of porn promotion! It’s officially fall as I write this, but I’m going to leave the books free the rest of the week. I’d like to see how many sales giveaways I can generate over the course of this month. The books have been flying off the virtual shelves! Interestingly the books have kept the same sale pace throughout the month. By that I mean, within the first day of the month, the best-selling book is established, and also the next best-selling book, and the next, and so on. Once the ranks are established, the books seem to hold their ranks between one another surprisingly well over the course of the month.

I’ve assembled the following list, which is based only on the Amazon numbers from this month.

1) Summer Shorts
2) American Girl
3) Dirty Business
4) Bench Warrant
5) Tricked/Orange You Glad? (these two are neck and neck)
6) MEN

All books started out free this month, but a few titles were enrolled in Kindle Select and so didn’t make the sale or the charts. Interesting data. If it changes in the next week, I’ll let you know, but I don’t suppose it will.

I have enjoyed giving away so many books this month! If I get some time with Excel next month, I’ll calculate the numbers and post.

Meanwhile, I’m not sure if I mentioned, but I’m revising Dirty Business and I’m very pleased with the results so far. Later this week, I’ll do a post on why I decided to revise it (customer feedback, essentially) and what I’m trying to achieve with the revisions. It’ll be an interesting little craft discussion.
